Marriage
Have you ever wonder when will u step down the red carpet?? How much money u need to pour in to make it a memorable event? So many things you have to take in considerations before u really said 'i do'... ok... i'm not the one getting married k..
Recently, heard a fren said something abt housing.. in order to get an apartment of ur own.. u need ard 3-5 yrs... this is the case if u are buying first hand HDB flat la.. u need to bid for the location.. then wait for them to build.. then renovate.. haha.. all these will take some time... so my fren was saying if we need ard 3 to 5 years.. shldn't we start searching for an apartment now... orelse by the time we grad, and decide on the apartment, we will be quite old by them.. esp guys..
Another fren of mine has been going house-hunting with her bf... but they can't find a first hand flat that they like... so they decided to get a resale flat... and fyi.. they are both 24 yr old only.. the guy going into final yr in NUS next sem..they said if they manage to find a flat they like... they are going to pay the deposit and ROM in Dec... In Dec.. the guy still haven grad lo.. haha.. both of them have been spending their money very carefully in order to save $$ for marriage..
All of a sudden, i feel old.. listening to frens talking abt houses, marriage... i always think marriage is still very far away for me.. but after listening to them... hmm.. its isn't that far right... maybe u guys can think abt it too... when u wanna to get married... and start to save some lao po ben now, guys... haha..
